Some disappointing news for Beijing music fans: Strawberry Music Festival 2017 has been cancelled.

News of the cancellation comes just two weeks before the festival was supposed to take place at Grand Epoch City in Hebei.

That's reached out to festival organizers Modern Sky, who confirmed that the event's permit approval didn't go through. Bummer.

But fret not, you can head down south for Shanghai's Strawberry Festival, which is still very much on. The lineup includes British pop star Charlie XCX, the UK's The Vaccines, American instrumental troupe Caspian and Japanese glam metal band Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The three-day festival will go down at Shanghai's Expo Park over the Labor Day break. Take a look at the first wave of headliners here.

And if you're staying put in Beijing for the holiday, G Festival will rock the Bird's Nest from April 29 through May 1. Acts at the international science, technology and entertainment fest from GMX include Siminia Grigoriu, BB Deng, Oshi, Kay C, Shen Yue and more. Take a look at the full lineup here.

There will also be Megabots. Yes, Megabots.
